Big O Tires...RIP OFF

Your driving down the freeway, then *BAM*, you have a blown tire. If your like every other person that owns a car, the first thing that comes to your mind is 'more expenses'.Now of course you have your options with tires but for the most part there are 4 well known stores one would likely go to being Discount Tire, Pep Boys, Goodyear, and Big O Tires."

Big O tires, this particular one I would like to mention today. If you have not had any problems with them, then answer this question, 'Are you paying a fair price?' I only mention this because about 3 weeks ago my back right tire consistently would go flat over night and was finally at the point of no return. The closest tire shop to me at that moment was Big O Tires located just up the street on Rural and Broadway in Phoenix Arizona.

The first I explained was that I knew I needed all new tires, it had been a descent amount of time, that I was very low on money so I only would be able to purchase two tires, and the lowest priced tires for my car. As I waited a goof hour or so, I had 2 different employees speak with me. The first conversation was about how I must purchase 4 tires (same fella I previously spoke too), the second conversation was about my brakes and routers, which needed to be done all around but most importantly the front (the front was quoted at $240, which I kindly said I couldn't afford), the third employee at Big O Tires must have thought I was just plain stupid because he felt as if all the information needed to be repeated.

I was already disgusted with this experience at Big O Tires, but would let it go being the fact men believe females don't understand a lot about vehicles. When it came time to pay my bill the total was $184 and some change. This was very pricey considering the tires averaged $40 on the Internet. 'They don't always have certain tires in stock' I was explained. The bill was payed and I moved on knowing I wouldn't be spending my dollars with Big O Tires anymore.

This is where my decision was final.... I had the front brakes and routers changed totaling $170 at a local shop ($70 cheaper) that same day. To make matters more disturbing over the weekend I had another blown tire which wasn't a huge surprise since they needed to be replaced. I didn't feel like going to a tire store so my boyfriend took my car and decided to go to the same Big O Tires location. All in All I was basically robbed, same tires and services totaling him $143 and change. (That's $41.00 savings and no hassle) Once mentioned they said sorry nothing they could do because the website prices change daily and he didn't even know the special.

In conclusion, I will never recommend BIG O TIRES to anyone! Big O Tires does NOT change the ads daily, this was the same ad from 3 weeks ago! Finally if you are a BIG O TIRES shopper check your receipt, because you may just be over paying!

Not a good start to weekend

It's finally the weekend, yay even though it didn't get off to a good start. My 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser is at it again...I got a very small paycheck today from a job of mine, and of course had to go return/exchange a few things at Wal-mart and Target."

Let's start off with why I had to go visit the wonderful local Wal-mart! It started with my car being the Chrysler it is, Mr. PT Cruiser decided to start going crazy then shutting off. I had to get a tow to my place, and of course once in the driveway...wha-la turned on. So we decided to get my boyfriends 2000 Chevy Tahoe running and purchase the tags, well Mr. Tahoe didn't want to turn over which leads me to Wal-Mart for a battery exchange! Now I figured I could drive Mr. PT Cruiser to drop my daughter off at school and then to do a little battery exchanging...He had different plans. Once I dropped her off at school I got on the freeway, just me and Mr. PT Cruiser...bad idea, I didn't even make it to the next exit before her shut down on me twice, had an officer ask me if everything was ok, had to call my boyfriend to call a tow truck, then come pick me up so that we could get to the Wal-Mart allready.

After arriving at Wal-Mart we only had to wait about 15 minutes to be told it would be another 40 minutes to check the battery. Good thing there is a Subway in this store....or NOT. I got a 6 inch sub, and my boyfriend got a 12 inch Subway meal with the total cost of $16.74! Can you believe that? What happend to the "5, 5 dollar foot looong"??? Who knows, but the battery was ready to be exchanged and we were of to the MVD for tags! That went quick in and out, seriously reord time of like 10 minutes! Amazing I tell ya, usually you should pack a lunch (a little PB&J, Doritos, Red Vines, Pepsi)... even a snack.

Finally after a long day I need to go to Target to return a few things like Circo shoes for my daughter that I was overcharged for, Hanes undergarments that still had the coupon on the bag, and a dog brush. Mr. Tahoe didn't want me to be comfortable though I found out... the air conditioner didn't work! Luckly Target's customer service department was AWESOME today, took care of it all! I went to pick up the items I needed then recieved a call from my dad: "Your brother was in an car accident and was taken over to John C. Lincon Hospital" ::GULP:: "As soon as we hear something we will call you". I went to the check out shortly after when I was called again, this time from my youngest brother saying everything should be ok, nothing fatal. I was waiting to check out for a good 20 minutes (2 cashiers at Target on a friday evening...STUPID) but once I got home my mom called.

I spoke with my mom only to find out everyone waiting at the hospital was arguing with eachother...my sister with his wife, my parents, my little brother and my dad, his Mother-in-law with my mom, her boyfriend, my dad, and my brother.. horrible! All about stupid stuff that didn't need to be mentioned at the darn hospital!!! After a few of them were asked to leave they started calling me to tell their sides. I frankly don't give a rat's toe, this was un called for and childish!!!! My brother was discharged about an hour after that episode and went with my mom to her house to rest. Nothing major thank god, but he does need to be kept an eye on. I'm so glad he will be fine, knowing this ends my day better

Affiliate Networks, Programs, and more

This is more information from yesterdays blog, plus an update!

So I firgured out it has to be the IP address because my account through Zanox.com wasn't terminated. I also figured out personally I didn't like that network so much. Today I signed up with CJ.com ( Commission Junction) and updated Shoppersmallexpress.com. So far I like this affiliate network I was allready approved by Adobe, Kodak, Crayola, Coca Cola, Travelocity, Hotels.com, Go Daddy.com, EFax, Avery, Ashford, M&M's and more. The only downfall would have to be that my application was denied from alot of top companies such as Southwest Airlines, Apple, HP, Dell, Gap, and others. Well it's a fresh start though, plus all of the hard work I did(like building the templates for that website)is allready done. So easy now, just putting links together.
I've had a long day and need to get up tomorrow (More Marketing Techniques to write about at work tomorrow for my Step by Step Guide)so i'm off to bed!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for the final part of Affilliates!

Affiliate Networks

Affiliate Networks and Affiliate Programs">.

I'm writing a step by step guide for the company i'm currently working for and it's rather interesting. I have all rights to it so i'm not worried about anything but I'm not sure I like it yet. So I decided to put a few of the ads on this site. I'm trying to see if what happend before with a domain I was using. I think linkshare had terminated my affiliation because one of two things. 1. I started adding sub domains to the particular site or 2. When I signed each client up I was on the same IP Address... Linkshare said they do not have to say why so fine! I decided to try Zanox which is according to Ranking.com is currently ranked 724 and they un like linkshare actually have over 5k per million visit sessions. Amazing, I know! So to rule out the SubDomain thing lets see what happens.
Hopefully the banner link will show right below this and I won't get a terminated email.

Swing Music...yay!

Most people believe that Swing Music began with Louis Armstrong in 1924, but it wasn't until mid 1935, when the & "Swing Era" was considered. The first performance was, Goodman's band whom was scheduled to perform at the Palomar Ballroom in Los Angels, California. Now this actually required the band to travel from the East coast to the West, making performance stops on the way. During these many stops, the "hot tunes" they tried playing were received poorly from the listeners. This All changed on August 21st, 1935 which was the official start of The Swing Era.
Shortly after this performance from 1935- 1946 every country club, night club, ballroom, radio, and even the background music of the movies was filled with swing jazz. People everywhere fox trotted to the sweet swing jazz tunes. Over this era some of the most popular music was made, from performers like Coleman Hawkins, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Red Allen, Roy Eldridge, Benny Carter,John Kirby, The Dorsey Brothers, Fletcher Henderson, Cab Calloway, The Casa Loma Orchestra, Duke Ellington's orchestra, The Mills Brothers, The Boswell Sisters,Benny Carter, Bunny Berigan, Ella Fitzgerald, Glenn Miller, Jimmy Dorsey, Lester young, Nat King Cole, Teddy Wilson, The Andrews Sisters, Frank Sinatra, and many others.
Here are 20 of my favorite "Swing Era Songs" enjoy!

Art Masterpieces in Time

If you leave your home you see art work all around, if you stay home, most likely you still see artwork. So, when did this all start? Over the past centuries no one can set in stone an actual time line pertaining the arts and sciences due to the everyday new discoveries. Some of the most famous have been documented to a specific time period due of the nature of the art."

The Gothic style (1280-1515) began with the architectures of the 12th century, at the height of the Middle Ages. The most known artwork from this time was done by the Limbourg brothers. Pol, Herman, and Jean Limbourg put allot of work into their joint masterpiece, *Les Riches Heures*.
The Renaissance style (1420-1600) might have been the most popular of all time most would say. I believe this may be where we find some of the greatest artists ever known. Some include the mighty Florentines, Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo Di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, The Umbrian, Raphael Sanzio and The Venetians... Titian, Tintoretto and Veronese.
The Impressionists style (1860-1900) are unrivalled in their popular appeal. Their paintings are among the best and most loved in the world. Everyone I know has seen at least one piece of artwork from this style. The most familiar principal Impressionist painters were Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Alfred Sisley, Berthe Morisot, Armand Guillaumin, Bazille, Edgar Degas and Paul.
Last but not least you find The Modern Masters (1900-2000)that are constantly being updated with new findings."

Here are a few of my favorites, enjoy!
The Last Supper, Leonardo Da Vinci 1448
The Last Judgment, Michaelangelo 1515
Starry Night Over Rhone, Vincent Van Gogh 1888
La Promenade, Claude Monet 1875
Ballet Rehearsal Edgar Degas 1873

Theories for what will happen on December 12th, 2012

Well I didn't think I would be writing about this but here it is, remember these are just things that people are saying, so look at it how you want."

I'm sure you have heard many, conversations on a topic having to do with December, 21st 2012. There are alot of theories about the the end-date of the Mayan calendar,The New World Order:Obama deception, Biblical, and many more. These discussions usually range from ideas that the world will end, Marshal Law Order will come into play - to talks about prophecies of doom and gloom, where the calendar portends the “End” of our world from a global cataclysm. (Or simply nothing Will happen.) I will cover a few topics per day this week, so if anyone has any comments, just let me know.

Lets Start with the Myan Calendar end-date which is a 13-baktun cycle of the Mayan "Long Count" system of timekeeping that was set to end precisely on a winter solstice, also related to certain astronomical cyclbutvthis, yet this system was put in place around 2300 years ago. (The Mayan scholar Munro Edmonson believes that the Long Count was put in place around 355 B.C.) Astronomically December 21st, 2012 represents an extremely close conjunction of the winter solstice sun with the crossing point of Galactic Equator and the ecliptic. So as research shows, being the only fact is that the planets will align and that that unless changes are made regarding toxic dumping, pollution and the way we treat the environment, the end is not far off.
Theories are out there everywhere (see for yourself type the date into Google) some have it that December 21st, 2010 the sky is divided by the sun and all dry land will begin to rise, oceans will have a response to any tectonic shifts and finally the Earth will begin to flood. Some say that these will happen; Planet X wiping most life off the planet, meteorite impacts, black holes, killer solar flares, Gamma Ray Bursts from star systems, a rapid ice age or a polar (magnetic) shift. Well that's just a few, feel free to look up "Mayan Calendar". On a last note for this topic... if you remember December 31st, 1999 also known as the "Y2K" everyone believed this would cause caous and computers would turn over to 2000, but back to 1900....well I personally never heard of anything out of the ordinary following that night, so it makes sense that the calendar will roll on too.

The Obama Deception or The New World Order... there is much being said the Governments intention is to effect complete and total control over every human being on the planet and to dramatically reduce the world's population by 5.5 Billion people. I'm going to make it easy for you, just click on the link and watch the videos that I found. Fist is The Obama Deception http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAaQNACwaLw then see how the government is poised to inject you with a tracking chip manufactured by Applied Digital Solutions called
"VeriChip".http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2udoNmQkR4
Now consider the official Great Seal of the Unites States of America, (commonly seen on the back of the one the dollar bill. On the US Great Seal, beneath the ancient Pyramid, is the Latin inscription: "Novus Ordo Seclorum". The official translation of this motto is "A New Order of the Ages". Then there was February 19th, 2002 Common Era started (AD and BC became CE/BCE) and on December 13th, 2002 the UK Newspaper has an article that "History has to be rewritten as school bans BC and AD". I recommend looking for yourself.

Websites & Search Engines….Oh My!

I have found that once you have a website up and running doesn’t necessarily mean the headache is over… lets just say you took an aspirin. If only the site automatically started generating income. Well I can’t help with that but there are many ways to help this happen without all hassles. There are some key things that have helped a lot of people (which I will explain below) so try not to get frustrated, ask questions and as always I wish you best of luck in your business venture."

The first thing one should do is submit the site into a directory and become an “authorized” link. This allows Search Engines to index the site pages more efficiently; being the goal should be to climb to the top of the search engine. “What Search Engine” you may be asking yourself. Well this depends on the amount of money that is put in. There are many different directories out there with monthly, annually, or even no start up costs for website submissions. The best thing to do is pick one to start with and add or change later. Here are some just to get an idea, but be sure to do research on these and others since some do offer “Specials” time from time. Just remember…. “What you pay for is what you get.” On a last note, additional ways of become a “findable” site is another advantage."

DMOS.COM Free
JOEANT.COM $39.99
GOGUIDES.COM $69.95
BESTOFWEB.COM $99.95 annually
BUSINESS.COM $299.95 annually
YAHOO.COM $299.95 annually

...Previously On "ER".....

Wow, what a week! I'm gonna switch this up, kick it up a knotch,ya know take it back...way back..back to about 5 min ago.">smooth

So I'm searching google to sell "leads" the search comes back with "I want to sell my leads" so I click OK. Now the 1st thingy on the list is "I want to sell my big palm tree", so I'm like..."OK..." then the next one catches my eye (well it would catch yours too) "Sell your soul, I want to sell my soul to Satan". So now I'm a little confused, I mean really...your Soul? I then commented(TO MY FRIEND SITTING NEXT TO ME)this exact phrase "I'll be your Soul Pimp Bee-atch!" Yes, it was funny, she knows and I was here!

Anyways, the note I want you too leave with is this..."Don't be a pimp selling beee-atch with a Dawg pimp. Until tomorrow.... slap some baby powder on!BTW the title had absolutely nothing to do with this, she happened to say previously and I said E.R.

Computers....

Wow have I had some computer problems lately! Can anyone answer this?">smooth

I bought this "Acer" computer NEW, never used... Now I got it all started up and haven't had any problems(this was like 2 years ago) that I couldn't handle.BUT NOW... my computer like to tell me that I am blocked from like everything and can't be allowed to authorize MYSELF into this computer! What in the world? Well that is still a problem but everything else is working better. So I decide to log onto "Blogger" Page and once again, I get stopped...The administrator had disabled "cookies". Well, that is me and NO I didn't. Who knows anymore with computers I swear.

Anyways I'll be back to update everything tomorrow, PLUS I'm almost finished building 1 of 2 websites so I'll make sure I post a link for that!
Until tomorrow.... put on a smile!

OoPs...HaPpY TuEsDaY

Happy Tuesday everyone! Unfortunately I wasn't able to post a new blog over the weekend, due to my computer crashing! Good news though...it's fixed, well kinda. I figure I'll have it running smooth in a few days!

Let's talk about the "exciting" weekend I had! It was more of a lazy one for my daughter and I, got some housework done, watched a few DVD's (Chronicle's Of Narnia- one of her favorites Marley and Me, Idiocracy, and of course a little bit of House), a little online shopping (by the way The Children's Place has an awesome Spring sale...only cost $30.00 for 4 bottoms and 4 tops in her size), and fuzzy poster coloring. I'll tell you something, once you start coloring them you can get hooked, even as an adult. I'll have to put of some pictures of a few of them in another blog.

Well I'm going to cut this blog short, because my lunch is just about up, and I have to get back to work. So until next time...look at the glass half full!

Magical Friday

So it's finally Friday! Sorry for missing last night, I had a few things I needed to figure out, I'm still trying to figure those things out, any help out there?

I need to find a good music production software program for someone. The thing is, some of them are very difficult to use. (I don't recommend trying to use any music recording software if you have very little knowledge about computers) For example Live 4.0, Cakewalk Sonar, or Cubase Studio, Reaper... it tells you one thing to do but then when you get to that point it's not there. Either use your USB drive in then out or USB line connections don't match the in or out. There is also making sure you have audio connections, MIDI connections, sound card connections, and just connections in general correct. On top of it the books you can buy regarding these programs, are not helpful if your computer is missing 1 little file piece on your computer. This leads us to the tools in the program it self, your have create new AUDIO and MIDI files, create new instrument, create instrument effect, instrument volume, ect. (finding the instruments are simple though don't worry) Next mixing everything together. The good thing is REASON software allows all of this, and it's not too hard once you figure it out. Then just Re-wire/import it to your recording software. (Live 4.0, Cakewalk Sonar, Cubase Studio, Reaper)

Recording...ugh nothing ever works once your in these programs. Although on this computer if you use Media Player, and you plug in headphones to the microphone jack then hit record and talk into one earpiece, you can hear yourself while recording and "playback"! I swear I believe it is either the computer it self or the microphone. Live 4.0, well I'm not too sure if it may have anything to do with the fact that the box contained Live 6.1? Grr.. Guitar City will replace exchange that though. I have been able to "record" but then unable to "playback" on Cakewalk Sonar. On Cubase Studio...guess what happens? If you said it doesn't "playback" your CORRECT! Lastly brings us to Reaper, which was a free software download online. It placed too many files in too many locations from the gecko.

So in conclusion my computer knowledge just isn't enough anymore. I guess my best advise would be to check out prices on a new not used computer and start off fresh. Hey, You never know maybe Best Buy or even Walmart will have a computer at a reasonable price.

Come back and see what happens in Magical's Day! Until Tomorrow.......relax! It's the weekend!

Oddly Interesting Questions, that everyone asks at some point.

Here your sure to find some interesting questions...face it we've all thought about.

1.Why when you go to the bank to cash your check on a FRIDAY, are there only like 2 people behind the counter when there can really be 10 but on TUESDAY when there only need to be 2 there are 10? Let me remind you it is a Friday and everyone and their mom gets paid that day...

2. Why do guys on myspace, facebook, twitter, ect. feel they need to send girls a message with "your fine as hell", "I wanna hit it", "Just give me a call sometime", "Your so interesting", or their life story, when we've never spoken to them before? Boys common... really, just move on!

3. Why do "bigger boned" people feel that wearing "Mickey Mouse", "Winnie the Pooh", ect.. skin tight, is so appealing? Anyone....???

4. Why does "Applebees" make "Rum and Cokes" that taste like straight gasoline? Plus they charge like $10.00... Is this what having a drink comes to now?

5. Why does "Coby" make a freakin DVD player? First off, Kolby ring a bell??? Cheese people, not electronics!

6. Why do ghetto ass apartments need deposits up the ying yang, and newer kick ass ones only need like $1.00? Um, ya they don't have money, that's why they enjoy trashing the place on move day...this should really be re-thought by the management companies.

7. Why is it that the first thing someone says when they call you is "...and how are you doing today"? I mean come on, everyone says fine...and you? Change it up, start rambling on nonsense, talk about grape sized hemorrhoids, anything. (This will assure that company's won't be calling you back)

Well that's all today, my future blogs may not, well mostly likely won't have anything to do with this one. I do apologize in advance, you never know what I may have to say each day.... See you tomorrow night!
